Outdoor Yoga OAKLAND-LAKE MERRITT!

Start your Sunday morning outside practicing yoga with your friends!

Outdoor Yoga offers a 60 minute all levels yoga class in the Bay Areas most beautiful locations! This class and community offers you a special opportunity to get out in nature, move freely and practice yoga as you touch the real earth. Join yoga teacher, Kelly Becerra for a super sweet yoga experience along the beautiful Lake Merritt.

Kelly believes yoga is for everyone. Every moment an opportunity to arrive, breathe and move to the rhythm within you. Together we will flow with awareness, find the edges that tap into our inner strength and honor our bodies by moving in a way that feels good.

Kelly holds over 700 hours of Yoga Education through studies and trainings in San Francisco at Yogaworks and Yoga to the People.

Lover of nature’s beauty and offerings, practicing yoga outside with community is Kelly’s favorite ritual. We invite you here.. and look forward to meeting you at the edge of this serene lake!

Class location?

Lake Merritt Empowerment Park. It is tucked away in a quiet space along the Lake.

You can find us by entering Staten Ave. & Bellevue Ave, Oakland into your Maps. We will be setting up on the grass, just down the way from those cross streets and we will have prayer flags to indicate our check-in station.

There is free street parking all along Bellevue Ave., and along neighboring streets. and ample paid- parking available in the Lake Merritt Paring Lot. ($2 for 2 hours.)

If you choose to park in the parking lot, walk about 5 minutes North East (left if you’re facing the lake), along Bellevue until you reach our spot.

We know you will have an amazing time at our events. We’ve hosted nearly 15,000 people for outdoor yoga over 2 years, co-creating unique yoga experiences every time. Whether you’ve been 20 times before or this is your first event, we can’t wait to have you.

What you need:

Just you and a yoga mat! Please wear layers and dress according to the weather! Water is always a good idea as well!
