ARTafterDARK: Afrofuture

A special edition tribute to Afrofuturism: Where pyramids, politics and space collide.
Join us at the Honolulu Museum of Art for a journey in Afrofuturism, followed by Honolulu’s first ever large-scale public silent disco! The first 500 people in the door at ARTafterDARK: Afrofuture will receive a pair of Sound Off™ wireless headphones streaming live beats from some of Honolulu’s top DJs! All you have to do is crank up the volume and dance!
DJs performing at the Silent Disco include Maynard G, Davey Shindig, DJ Sejika, and count weevil.
There will also be an art projection by Afrofuture artist Ed Hemphill.
