The festival celebrates the contributions that people of African descent from Latin America and the Caribbean have made to our city and the global culture as a whole. With seminars, culinary presentations and artistic showcases, it highlights the work, values and issues important to the Afrolatino community.

Sound Off Experience in partnership with Abhaya Yoga, and DUMBO Bid bring you 4 dynamic evenings of yoga and sound! During these 1 hour events filled with progressive beats, trance and ambient music, "Sound Off" headphones eliminate all external noise allowing you to be seamlessly guided through a yoga movement sequence and a uniquely curated soundscape. The emphasis is on both the music and the movement expressing both as vehicles into a deeper experience. Escape the noise of the city, while you practice yoga in it's heart, under the majestic granite anchorage of the Manhattan Bridge.
Sound Off Yoga Sessions will be held Tuesday Evenings Rain or Shine under the Archway of the Manhattan Bridge from 7PM-8PM. Check-in will begin at 6:30PM. Please bring your own mat!
