Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025: Fan Zone Silent Discos

It’s one of the most electric events of the year, in the most dazzling entertainment city in the world: From November 20–22, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix fused racing, culture, and nightlife, featuring multiple Sound Off® silent discos throughout the high-octane weekend.

World-class entertainment lit up The Strip — from headline performers to DJs, dancers to one-of-a-kind stage shows — creating a high-energy ride before, during, and after the races.

Attendees filled up the Fan Zones, vibrant spots around the circuit offering immersive activities, live shows, great food, and photo ops for unforgettable moments beyond the track.

The T-Mobile Fan Zone at the Sphere was a standout hub for race fans, featuring panoramic views of the track, interactive activations, festive cocktails, VIP experiences, and live entertainment.

Sound Off custom-branded headphones helped curate an intimate, premium experience, bringing fans up close with big-name DJs in an exclusive setting with crystal-clear sound. Even next to a roaring Formula 1 racetrack, our silent disco technology kept the music front and center for a truly heightened, immersive experience.

Over by the finish line, outdoor Sound Off silent discos pumped up the crowd for six-hour sets each day at the East Harmon Zone. Amidst Cirque du Soleil performances, roaming activations, and a main stage featuring headliners like Shaggy, our silent discos brought the glow to one of the busiest and most dynamic areas of the circuit.

The setup showed off a giant boombox-shaped stage, with DJ Desire and DJ Freddy B performing on top of it. Fans could choose from three channels of music: the two live DJs and a pre-recorded mix. Once a group of 20 or 30 people put on headphones and started singing at the top of their lungs, curiosity took over, and suddenly everyone wanted in. At peak moments, 300 to 400 Sound Off headphones were in constant rotation, with a line forming to get in on the silent action.

Despite all the stimulating buzz of the zone, once fans put on headphones, they locked in. The winning formula? Anthems feel-good, high-energy tracks that brought everyone together.

Adding to the vibe were stilt walkers in silver jumpsuits who bounced their way over to hype up the crowd. Even the Vegas Golden Knights drumline joined in, putting on headphones and drumming directly to the beat — turning the Sound Off silent disco into a full-on celebration.

DJ Desire was more than happy to use our headphones during the Formula 1 weekend saying, “I love that Sound Off technology provides a unique opportunity for a crowd of strangers to feel connected in an intimate way. As a DJ, I get to speak directly to the audience. If I notice someone singing loudly or dancing in a fun way, I call them out and hype them up. Then I see everyone change to the same channel that person is listening to, and everyone bonds even more on the dance floor!”

F1 fans definitely enjoyed the power of choice switching among three music channels, they always found a track worth belting out. They could even dance while watching Cirque du Soleil or simply rest the headphones around their necks to mingle and chat.

Rain or shine, the fan zones rocked. At the West Harmon Zone, attendees slipped on their Sound Off headphones and chose from DJ Max’s set and two pre-recorded mixes, all perfect for the ultimate trackside hype.

Each silent disco at the Formula 1 Grand Prix showed that even in the most intense environment in motorsport, people will always find time to stop, put on glowing headphones, and lose themselves in great music.
