The man behind the magic: Corbin Stacy

It all started with a GQ article featuring Madonna quoting that hot yoga was the answer to all her hopes, dreams, doubts, and fears. That was all Corbin Stacy needed to know. He immediately googled “hot yoga” and his zip code. That was 2002 and the rest is history. Since then, Corbin has made yoga his life’s work. He is the owner and operator of yoga hOMe®.  yoga hOMe® is a brand new 4,000 sq. foot studio in Pompano Beach, Florida featuring state-of-the-art soundproof and infra-red paneled yoga spaces. yoga hOMe® offers hot yoga, non-heated vinyasa, yin yoga, and Sound Off™ Yoga. It is also the first studio to incorporate Sound Off Yoga into its weekly schedule of class offerings. Corbin’s mission is for clients to use yoga to “work in, not just work out”. His goal is to ignite the light in others so that they can become better versions of themselves and pay it forward.

Corbin is also the founder of NamaStacy Yoga Corporation®-an international non-profit that helps yoga teachers pay for their certification courses. The name of the NamaStacy Yoga Corporation® derives from the Sanskrit word “namaste” which translates to “I bow to you”. The non-profit awarded its first grant in 2013 and has distributed 50 grants ever since. In addition to sponsoring training from the Yoga Alliance, NamaStacy Yoga Corporation®sponsors Bikram training and unlimited annual memberships to the yoga studio of the student’s choice.

To Infinity and Beyond

Corbin calls partnering with Sound Off his “signature move”. He crossed paths with the company after accepting a friend’s invitation to a Sound Off Experience event. At this time, Corbin was in the process of writing his business plan for yoga hOMe. He knew that he wanted music to be a large part of his company’s DNA. It wasn’t long before Sound Off headphones became a part of the NamaStacy Yoga Corporation® brand. “Sound Off headphones take the yoga practice to the next level. We’re looking forward to doing deep dive meditation, yin yoga, kundalini yoga, breathwork…the possibilities are just endless!” says Corbin. “We are ecstatic to see where it goes”.
